Serve In Our Church

As believers we are called to Serve. God has gifted each one of us in such a way so that we can minister to the body of Christ and reach the lost both locally and world-wide. There are many ways to serve at SouthCrest Church. Opportunities are available in Children’s, Student, Creative Arts, Facilities, Cafe and Guest Service ministries.

Serve In Our Community

God has given us a very clear vision of loving South Atlanta one relationship at a time through Gospel, Grace, Growth and Generosity. One of those ways is through partnering as a church with local ministries and outreaches with our time and our financial support.

Providing food assistance to hungry children in Coweta County.

Providing food assistance to hungry children in Troup County.

Helping women make a right choice concerning an unborn child.

Food and clothing assistance to people who are in need.

Health care assistance to people who cannot afford insurance.

Serve Around The World

We believe that each of us are called to go and make disciples of all nations. Missions is not a trip we take; it is a lifestyle we live. All mission trips and mission opportunities are driven by our LifeGroups. We desire for each Life Group in our church to adopt mission opportunities both locally and internationally. SouthCrest is actively involved in supporting global missions.

This past June we took a team of people from both campuses to Haiti to work with Mission of Hope Haiti. We worked with MOH to share the gospel and do home construction on an island that desperately needs to be shown the Love of Christ.  This week not only gave the opportunity to serve but it also was a week of intense discipleship training.

In July we took a team of people from both campuses to England to work with our partner organization at UK-USA Ministries. We worked with Hughston Taylor and his team to put on sports camps for kids. We also had the opportunity to be in one of the local schools. These avenues gave us the opportunity as a team to invite kids and families to a block party at the end of the week where the gospel was presented.
