Thanks for stopping by. We’re glad you’re here. No matter what you’ve been through or where you come from, you are welcome at SouthCrest. Our church is full of imperfect people, and that should make you feel all the more welcome. We would love to see you at one of our weekend services. It’s our desire to connect people with Jesus and with one another.
Though each our campuses may each look a just little different, SouthCrest is one church in 2 locations. That means we are committed to one mission: To reach South Atlanta one relationship at a time through Gospel, Grace, Growth and Generosity. We invite you to come see what we are all about and to join us in this mission.
When do I need to get there?
It’s a good idea to arrive about 20 minutes prior to service. That way you have time to grab a free cup of coffee and if you have kids (Birth-5th grade) this will give you time to get them checked in.
Where do I park?
When you arrive on campus you should see one of our parking team members at the main entrance. They will guide you to our first time guest parking.
What should I wear?
You’re invited to come as you are, whether it’s a suit or shorts you feel most comfortable wearing. Our members and attendees tend to dress pretty casual.
Sundays at 9:30am
Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our church database to help maintain our secure check-in system.
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All CrestKids volunteers must pass a state and national background check before beginning to volunteer. At check-in each child and parent will receive a nametag with a matching security code. This will ensure safe drop off and pick up. As well we have a campus safety team to help ensure your child’s safety.
Our CrestKids ministry is for Birth – 5th Grade and is uniquely designed for kids to come and meet Jesus on their level. Every Sunday all children experience safe, fun, and age appropriate environments that help kids know Jesus and grow in their faith.
CrestKids takes place during our 9:30am worship times. It mixes LifeGroups, high-energy worship, crazy games and a message that is fit for them. The best part of CrestKids is the incredible leaders who love kids and desire to impact their lives.
First Time to CrestKids?
Look for the “Children’s Check In” sign or any person with a SouthCrest Lanyard and they will direct you to our CrestKids check-in location where one of CrestKids volunteers will help you get your child(ren) checked in.
SouthCrest places a high priority on making children with special needs feel comfortable, safe, and loved during their time here at SouthCrest. We understand that each child is unique, and requires different levels of care. To request a special needs buddy, please email Courtney Fox at email@example.com.
Please allow 2 weeks notice to schedule a buddy for your child.
We are now offering Family Dedication for individual families on any Sunday during the 9:30am service hour (date must be prescheduled). During the dedication time, families will be brought on stage and have the opportunity to present a life verse that they have chosen for their child. Then, our Campus Pastor, Pete Shoger, will pray over each family as they publicly commit to raise their children to love the Lord and His church. This will give our church family the opportunity to celebrate the dedication of your family.
The deadline for registration is noon each Wednesday. If you have any questions or would like to set up a time for dedication, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
